Valentine's Special

It was 6 in the morning, as she excitedly woke up. She ran to get ready as quietly as she could so that no one can hear any voice. She wore her favorite red attire as she collected some beautiful red roses. And she then silently moved out of the house.

She didn't know anything about Valentine's Day. All she knew was that on this day, she earns great profit by selling the same roses that are not sold very well every day. As the sun was drowning, she seemed to be even more enthusiastic. And finally the moment came for which she was waiting for long. She collected all her money and after counting all her days' earning for the third time, she went to a toy shop and bought a bat and a ball for her four year old brother. As she went home, her younger brother was eagerly waiting for her in the veranda of her house. He knew her sister will surely get something for him. And in a little time, as he saw his sister with a bat and ball in her hand, he jumped in joy and he hugged her sister tightly in merriment.

Marcus Aurelius has rightly said that "Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking".

  1. How true! We all wait for someone else to give us happiness, and contentment. But it's all about what we make out of all that we have with us.
